My mime partner and I use Mehron Clown White Makeup. We have never used a base to make it easier to take off. However after watching videos and looking at different discussions on gospelmime.ning.com we may change our ways. Whatever you do please do not use makeup from places like Party City, Target, or Wal-Mart meant for halloween. When we first started out we made that mistake and found that the makeup will crack on you, leave you looking like a ghoul, and it makes you feel like you need the relief of a ton of lotion on your face.
